India launches online portal to make AYUSH pharmacopoeia available to the world


An online portal that would promote the hassle-free reach of AYUSH pharmacopoeia monographs among the stakeholders across the world was inaugurated by Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at Ghaziabad on Wednesday (May 24).

The portal created and managed by the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) is meaning for selling soft copies of pharmacopoeia monographs to anyone from any part of the world.

The Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H), under Ministry of AYUSH, is actively engaged in Standardization and Quality Control of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathic (ASU&H) drugs and publishes the standards in the form of Pharmacopoeias.

Dr. Kousthubha Upadhyaya, Adviser (Ayurveda), Ministry of AYUSH, and Dr. Raman Mohan Singh, Director, PCIM&H, were also present during the occasion.
