Home remedies for Gastric Pain


Fennel – It is easily available in our kitchen. It is an instant remedy for flatulence and bloating. You can take it orally and chew a few grams of fennel seeds. Otherwise you can put them in a cup of boiled, hot water for 3 to 5 minutes and slowly drink. The gastric pain will escape within 5-10 minutes. It is recommended to keep fennel seeds in your pocket, in case, you have a bloated stomach, you can just chew them immediately.

Ginger – Another must kitchen ingredient you can use for indigestion is Ginger. It helps to stop gas from forming inside the stomach. It is actually a preventive medicine. So if you want to keep gas away, better chew pieces of ginger with honey in the early morning before breakfast or add some fresh ginger to your dinner.
Ginger tea is best served by grinding up some ginger and adding it to a cup of boiling water. Let it cool down for 10 minutes and then reheat as hot as you can and then slowly imbibe. Drink 3 times a day for best results.

Garlic – Turmeric qualities are present in Garlic. The heating qualities are known to stimulate the gastric fire in the belly and help to ease gas and bloating. Use recently available garlic from the market, instead of packed ones. Use as much garlic as possible in your cooking cutleries and add some grinded garlic to one of your teas as well.
