Interested in becoming an NABH AYUSH Assessor?


If you have current experience as a health service professional and are motivated to contribute to improving healthcare quality, consider becoming an NABH AYUSH assessor. For this, all you need to do is to apply for the NABH proposed five-day Ayush assessor training program. The course will cover AYUSH Hospital Accreditation, Panchakarma Clinic Accreditation and AYUSH Entry Level certification standards. The course will be conducted in Delhi from 22nd to 26th July 2019 and is specifically aimed for assessments of AYUSH healthcare organizations.

Course details and fee: It is a non-residential five day course. Attendance by participants on all days is compulsory. The pedagogy of the course involves interactive teaching and group exercises. The evaluation of the participants will be based on the daily monitoring of performance, practical and written examination. The successful participants would be considered for empanelment as NABH assessors. The fee for the training course is Rs. 25,000 + 18% tax which also includes lunch and tea for 5 days. Payment to be made by demand draft in favour of ‘Quality Council of India’ payable at New Delhi.

Eligibility criteria for applying for the course:

Essentially the candidate should have completed BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS with 10 years of clinical experience in an AYUSH hospital. Higher qualification in AYUSH clinical branches will be preferred. Alternatively, he/she can also be a post-graduate in Hospital Management with AYUSH Bachelors qualification and a minimum of 10 years of experience in AYUSH hospital, out of which 5 years being in the hospital administration in AYUSH Hospital. Higher qualification will be given more preference.

Desirable criteria: Experience of implementation of AYUSH Hospital / Panchakarma Clinic accreditation standards, successful completion of POI on AYUSH Hospital or Panchakarma Clinic Accreditation Standards will be preferred. Additional Quality Management Certifications are desirable. Participants should be proficient with the requirements of the NABH standards and the interpretation. Candidates must have good proficiency with using internet, MS office.
