International Wellness Tourism Festival from August 5


The three-day International Wellness Tourism Conference and Festival (IWTCF) will be held at Surakarta City, Central Java Province, Indonesia, from August five.

The event themed "Sustainable Strategy for the Recovery and Growth of Global Tourism through Wellness Tourism," aims to showcase the growing importance of wellness tourism in the post-pandemic era.

Sajeev K. Pillai, Head of Ayurveda Yoga Wellness Association of India, will speak at the G-20 event on the topic ‘Health & Wellness Travel and Industry Market Landscape’, the first Keralite to represent the country at the prestigious event.

The organizers will showcase various wellness products divided into eight categories and made by local 24 micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) players, with the concept of a wellness village, as well as 30 non-small and medium enterprise (SME) industries.

The categories include healthy eating, nutrition, weight loss, physical activities, healthy eating, wellness tourism, traditional and complementary medicine, public health, prevention and personalized medicine, wellness real estate, as well as mental health.
